My concept behind this piece is to visually represent depression and how it affects me. The surrealistic approach is intended to illustrate how sometimes, especially as a creator who struggles with depression, you have so many amazing things you want to accomplish and have the best intentions and come up with great ideas but have no motivation while your bed holds you hostage while you feel empty, hopeless, and well kinda dead!
