glitter bulimia awareness waterproof sticker

This piece is a visualization of Bulimia. bulimia is an eating disorder that causes people to have extreme body issues to the point of binging and purging on foods regularly in hopes of rapid weight loss. I tried to express through this piece the loss of control those suffering feel. The measuring tape represents the body image issues they face while the bubbles represent how fragile and empty the ones suffering can feel.

this piece was done in mostly colored pencil and paint pens.
