This piece is meant to represent the different symptoms. A person with autism can experience. The headphones outline the sensory issues when can experience specifically with sounds. The illusion with the eyes symbolizes, a struggle to make eye contact, as you can see none of the eyes are looking directly at you. Finally, the cracks in the skull represent the fall stigma of Autism. being a disability, when, in fact, it’s just a different ability.
