Original canvas art print “insomnia” 8 1/2”x11”

this piece was made to represent insomnia, difficulty falling asleep, and daytime drowsiness. I used the cellphone to represent a bottomless scroll that one may endure while laying restless at night, the gears represent functionality which someone with insomnia would not have a lot of considering sleep is essential to a persons well being. the broken clock symbolizes how hours can fall away while feeling like minutes to an insomniac. insomnia can be a result of someone suffering from another mental disorder such as, anxiety or depression.

this piece was done in mostly colored pencil and paint pens.
