this piece was made to reflect body dysmorphic disorder, which creates an obsession with a minor or imagined flaw. this can cause one to have repetitive compulsion to look at their appearance in the mirror which is what I portrayed here. it may also cause someone to not have a real idea of what they look like or how they are perceived by others, which is symbolized here with the glitching reflection

this piece was done in mostly colored pencil and paint pens.
